Choose the product before designing the pages

A design prepared for a spiral-bound paper calendar will not automatically fit the Magic Cube Calendar. Start with branded desk calendars to review the confirmed cube item, or submit desk flip calendar enquiries for a paper format. Request the correct artwork template after the product is identified. This avoids paying for a layout that cannot be used on the eventual item.

Create a content checklist

Gather the company logo, approved contact details and any images you are authorised to use. For a dated calendar, nominate someone to verify every date and month heading, not only the cover. If holidays or company shutdown dates are included, check them against the intended year and organisation. A calendar can look attractive and still be unusable if the date grid is wrong.

Review legibility at actual size

Check small text, date numbers and contrast using the proposed finished dimensions. A large on-screen proof can conceal type that will be difficult to read on a desk. Confirm safe artwork areas, folds or binding clearance with the supplier. Do not assume a cube or paper calendar can accept the same amount of information on every visible surface.

Work backwards from distribution

Tell us when the calendars need to reach your office and whether they are for one location or several. Packaging and delivery splits should be requested explicitly. Include quantity and the final artwork status so the quote can reflect the project. Product availability, print compatibility and timing are confirmed before approval, rather than guaranteed by the enquiry form.
